What do Executive Coaches do?

Executives enhance their self-awareness through the coach’s purposeful conversations, objective review of peer and self-assessments, informed discussion of successful approaches, and structured analysis of intentions, actions, behaviours, outcomes and results.

Executives develop skills, change behaviours, reinforce commitments and achieve results through the coach’s enquiries, challenges, feedback, encouragement and support.

Executives develop self-reflection habits through the coach’s encouragement of self-discovery to recognise assumptions, perspectives and behaviours that lead to dissonances and resonances in order to improve and refine instincts and judgments for future situations.

Executives are coached through a variety of learning tools and activities that may include, but are not limited to, purposeful conversation, rehearsal and role-plays, videotaping, supportive confrontation and inquiry, relevant reading, work analysis and planning,
